The Redlands Girls

Hey everyone!

Hope everyone had a good Monday. I started my day with a run in Central Park. Great start to the week!

So this week I am looking forward to the weekend even more because on Friday, right after work, I am flying to Portland, Oregon to see my sister Karen’s college graduation.

Not only will the whole family be reunited for the first time since Christmas (incredibly exciting in and of itself!!), but after Karen’s graduation we are driving up to Seattle to spend some time  there and two of my best friends from college happen to live there! So, even if we only get one night to hang out, it will be SO amazing. We know how to live life to the fullest, us Redlands girls. :)

I haven’t seen Stephannie since September when she came to visit, and I haven’t seen Emily since we graduated!

Needless to say, we are LONG overdue.

Here is a little walk down memory lane…

Just babies-Freshmen year of college

Steph and me “being French”-ya know, since we’re in berets

More Freshmen year fun-they took a trip to San Diego and I had a swim meet, so they put a picture of me on a popsicle stick so I didn’t miss out-naturally they chose a really attractive picture

Halloween Senior Year 2009

We threw a pirate party Senior year: Cap’n Party-Cap’n Crunch and Cap’ n Morgan

Me, Emily, and Steph Aboard Our Ship

Guess the holiday!

Part of my birthday present Freshmen year

After a major spill, Steph was kind enough to loan me this sexy sweat suit. Which I wore with pride. Obviously.

There we all go to graduate-haven’t seen most of them (only Steph!) since!!! Long overdue-cannot wait!!!

These girls are some of the most amazing people I have ever met and we’ve been incredibly close since move-in day Freshmen year.

The last few months I have been on the phone, Skype, you name it with them non-stop since we are on opposite coasts and cannot physically be together. They even offered to drink wine, eat chocolate, and cry together on Skype since we couldn’t do it in person! Haha. My friends are the BEST.

I am so thankful for all of my girlfriends, they are the world to me.

The people in your life really are what make it with living.

Question of the Day: Who are you grateful for in your life? What are some of your favorite memories with your friends?

Have a great night!

Cheers,

L
